The gains seen in May were largely continued through the month of June.
Retail sales held steady from the previous two months. Average sales by location were $49,357. Each customer transaction averaged $15.80, not far off the 12-month high of $15.96 recorded in May.
Similar to the results from retail, production remained consistent from the previous two months. On average, 23,066 units were produced. 12,138 units were sold. Comparing units produced against units sold results in a sell-through rate of 52.6%.
June often brings a lull in sales as shoppers go on vacation. By continuing the strong results recorded in the previous month, a remarkable feat was accomplished.
On average, the single biggest opportunity to drive further growth is in producing more units at the right price. The 52.6% sell-through rate demonstrates there’s room to increase production, so long as the donation stream can support it.
